Turbine Bypass Valves

Whether as individual fittings or complete HP-IP-LP turbine control systems, we offer the highest quality through precise tuning. Our turbine control stations are:

Steam Conditioning Valves

Steam conditioning valves are used in power plants, chemical plants and in the processing industry to safely and accurately control steam pressures and temperatures. BOMAFA performs the pressure reduction through spindle-hole and or labyrinth disc technology step-by-step under critical and particularly low-noise requirements. Hot steam cooling is tailored to the process of pressure reduction, creating a solid system within a valve. Our steam conditioning valves are: 

  • Designed for maximum availability in continuous operation with short revision times
  • Customised with process-specific / equal-percentage / linear control characteristics
  • Superheated steam cooling possible to 3 ° C above saturated steam

PRDS Systems

PRDS systems are used in power plants, chemical plants, pulp and paper, cement and in the processing industry to safely and accurately control steam pressures and temperatures. BOMAFA performs the pressure reduction through spindle-hole and or labyrinth disc technology step-by-step under critical and particularly low-noise requirements. Hot steam cooling is tailored to the process of pressure reduction, creating a solid system within a valve. Our PRDS systems are of combined and separate types. Depending on customer requirements complete piping along with inlet, outlet and bypass isolation valves as a whole skid are also supplied. Our PRDS systems are designed for:

  • Superheated steam cooling possible to 3 ° C above saturated steam

Desuperheaters

Superheated steam coolers are used to cool superheated steam in pipelines and to produce process steam at given temperatures. In the case of BOMAFA superheated steam coolers, the cooling water is preferably injected in the area of the smallest flow cross-section, with correspondingly highest vapor velocities. Due to the streamlined design, impermissible pressure losses are effectively prevented. Our steam boilers offer:

  • Ring cooler with spring-loaded nozzles
  • Venturi cooler with annular gap or nozzles (swirl atomization)
  • Motion steam-assisted superheated steam coolers
  • Multi-stage, regulated nozzle injection coolers

Severe Service Control Valves

Severe service control valves are used in power plants and applications which demand a very high pressure drop applications leading to noise, vibration, cavitation and flashing. BOMAFA performs the pressure reduction through spindle-hole bushing systems step-by-step and or with labyrinth disc stack technology undercritical and particularly low-noise.

Safety Relief Valves

Safety relief valves are used to protect an equipment from overpressure leading to its failure and bursting. Safety relief valves have a wide range of use and application in almost all segments of industry. 

  • IBR approved with high discharge Coefficient
  • Capacity tested at FCRI laboratory.
  • Available in ASME SEC – I and SEC VIII
  • Safety valves with double blow down rings to accommodate close overpressure and blow down requirements for boiler applications.
     

Dump Tubes

Dump Tubes are used where gaseous or vaporous media are released. Mostly they are used after LP steam control valves in the transition to capacitors. Our Dump Tubes offer:
